SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Core and Position Management: Guided Implementation and Certification Preparation
A 12-week mentor-led course in which you configure SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and Position Management hands-on and prepare for the C_THR81 certification.
A 12-week mentor-led course in which you configure SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and Position Management hands-on and prepare for the C_THR81 certification.
This course is for HR and IT professionals in the Gulf who want to work as SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central consultants. You may be an HR generalist who already uses the system, an HRIS analyst, a payroll or ERP specialist moving into cloud HR, or a junior consultant who needs structured, supervised practice. No previous SAP SuccessFactors configuration experience is assumed, but you should be comfortable with HR processes and with working carefully in a business system.
How a week works
Each of the 12 weeks has four lessons and takes about ten hours. Every lesson follows the same pattern: you watch a short video, you receive a dataset and a scenario, you carry out the activity in the shared SAP SuccessFactors practice system, and you answer a quiz based on what the system actually shows you. Three live mentor sessions run every week on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday from 19:30 to 20:45 Dubai time, where the mentor walks through the week's activities, answers questions and reviews common mistakes. The cohort is limited to 20 learners so that everyone gets individual feedback.
What you will learn
- Foundation Objects, MDF foundation objects and the Corporate Data Model
- Role-Based Permissions, permission groups, roles and target populations
- The Succession Data Model, effective dating and country-specific data models
- Hire, transfer, promotion and termination, with event reasons, business rules and workflows
- Data import, validation, correction and reconciliation using the standard tools
- Position Management: objects, hierarchy, incumbents, synchronisation and mass changes
- Integration touchpoints, Company Structure Overview and support practices
Four marked projects
Your progress is assessed through four marked projects completed in the practice system: a foundation and permissions build at the end of Week 3, an employee lifecycle configuration with rules and workflows at the end of Week 6, a data migration and Position Management build at the end of Week 9, and the end-to-end implementation capstone in Week 11. Each project is marked against a rubric and returned with written mentor feedback.
Certification preparation
The syllabus is mapped to the topic areas of the SAP Certified Associate - Implementation Consultant - SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Core exam (C_THR81) and extends into Position Management. Week 12 is given over to two unseen practical mock assessments, a remediation clinic and a readiness review with an exam strategy session. This course is delivered independently by UpSkill Gulf and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or certified by SAP SE. Learners register for and sit the certification exam separately.
